Approach
From the outset it was important to Blair and Rhiannon, who co-founded the studio, that the rebrand provide the opportunity to engage clients at a creative level and push beyond purely functional outputs.
We worked with their team to identify key audiences and explore ways that we could express the creative and technical expertise of the studio. Having worked together on previous projects, we understood the answer lay in developing a strong design narrative which felt at home in the creative sector but also engaged a broader audience.
To achieve this we changed the studio name to ‘Where Giants Roam’ - a moniker designed to challenge perceptions and conjure up images of mythical lands and unchartered territories. Evocative brand messages were developed to work alongside the name, creating a branded environment where anything seems possible.
The visual identity, based on a simple arrow device, builds on this sense of exploration, providing a graphic framework for static and motion content. Dynamic use of type and colour help to reinforce the spacial theme to create a brand which pushes boundaries and captures the imagination.

Client comments
After a series of in-depth discussions, the team at FA identified that our functional name did not accurately reflect the creative solutions we offer. Whilst changing our name was not an easy decision to make, FA gave us confidence and guided us through the process and delivered brilliant creative ideas which allowed us freedom to experiment and implement within our new brand. A liberating and thought provoking process, Where Giants Roam beautifully encapsulates exactly who we are, what we do but also alludes to the sense of mystery around how we do it.
