Approach
Having worked previously with Jake on the re-design of Up Front Brewing’s core range, he came back to us with the enviable task of designing a can inspired by techno club culture. After streaming more dance classics than we care to mention we knew what had to be done.
We sourced a suitably mesmerising holographic label material and paired the design back to allow the name and beer do all the talking. The can takes on a range of different looks depending on lighting and environment.
The design has a been a hit, tempting both craft beer aficionados and a more mainstream drinker to try this incredible beer. The design has been particularly successful on social media, inspiring all sorts of instagram posts including some crazy dance videos and even its own techno song. About the beer
Das Ist Techno Sex is a Passionfruit and Key Lime Gose featuring pink Himalayan salt, Indian coriander seeds and dry hopped with Citra. Coming in at 5.4% it’s a perfect sour combination, malty and deliciously fruity and sour on the palette.
Originally brewed for on-trade as a collaboration with Brewdog Doghouse Merchant City for #collabfest, it proved so popular that Jake from Up Front just had to put it into can. The beer is available now via upfrontbrewing.com / eebriatrade.com
